|SOLD! This sweet baby girl will have a great home in Ohio. She will grow up with
Caroline, Benjamin and Poodle sister Mya. Her name will be..."BAYLEE"
I’m sorry it has taken me so long to write back, life has been a little hectic now that school is out!
Baylee is doing wonderful! She is the sweetest most lovable girl! She gets along so well with Maya, they just love to play chase and catch together! She
is just a little bit bigger than Maya is, but not by much! I think she was over 40 at her last checkup, she goes in to get spayed next month when we get back
from vacation so we will see how much she weighs then. The Vet thinks she will be over 50! How are the other dogs doing? We still go out and look at
your website to see how they are doing!
Here are some pictures of Baylee and her with Maya.
Take care, and we will keep in touch!
|HER NAME WILL STAY...
All went well at the Vet, not that you had any thing to worry about. LOL! Every one was very impressed with him and they just think he is
such a beautiful boy!! I think Dr. Haynes was even a little envious! The girls fell in love with him, he weighs 47 lbs, the Vet says he will be a
big boy! He has a strong heart beat, Dr. Haynes looked at the spot on his rear from the deer fly, he said it seems to be healing fine, but
could form a callus from him sitting down on it. Which is no big deal. He done a fecal and it was negative. We had him microchipped, just
let me know if you need the number or the paper from the Vet. He is doing just fine today, stuck to me like glue at the Vet but was fine for
the Vet to touch him and the girls were giving him treats! All is well, we will continue to update you on his progress. Thank you again for
such a beautiful, sweet and healthy boy. He really means the world to me, has become a very good friend and we are totally pleased with
doing business with you. I don't think you could of bred a better quality Standard Poodle!
Anna Matney 7-29-11
The vet went well. She didn't get sick in the
car and was very patient and
cooperative (we had to wait an extra 40
minutes because an emergency came
in). She weighed 49.8 pounds. She finally
pooped -- in the house but I
caught her as she squatted and got her
outside just after it fell. Just
glad she pooped for now, but we'll work on
getting it outside. She still
does not want me watching her go potty
and can't seem to go on leash at all.
She wants to hide from me when she goes.
We'll get it ironed out. She and
I had a pretty crazy fetch game going this
morning after the kids went to
school. She is beginning to show her
playful side to me and I know when she
is more comfortable she'll be chasing the
kids around, too.
If you are ever around and want to visit,
don't hesitate to call!
|LuAnn, for some reason the message below did not send last week?! Braelyn
continues to relax more and more each day and has made friends with my mom's
dog, Lily. She just "asked" me to go out to go potty for the first time!!
I can't imagine what life was like before her! Have a great day!
Thought I'd check in with a quick update... I have a confession to make.
The kids have wanted a dog for years. Me, not so much. I knew there was
something I liked about Braelyn from her photos, but let me tell you. I am
in love. She is so sweet and is wonderful with the kids. I babysat my 13
month old niece and 3 1/2 year old nephew yesterday and she was so good with
them. Max taught her to lie down by the end of the day and Ally followed
her around saying, "Woof! Woof!" and giving her kisses. She stays with me
in the yard and walks beautifully on a leash. She is a perfect match for our
family -- thank you for taking such good care of her and giving her a great
start. The kids are teasing me saying, "Mom was the one who said we didn't
need a dog and now she loves her the most!" 8-6-11
Take a look at Brae’s new favorite backyard activity… (It actually looks like she
is catching a pass, but she is fetching it.)
Check out this picture of Braelyn and her best play buddy, Louie (6 months old). J
They romp together every day and sometimes she tricks me into letting her out thinking
she has to potty, only to see her standing by his fence waiting. He is also known to
hang out by our side door in hopes of catching her, so we have scheduled her spaying
for next week. ;)
Hope you and the pups are all doing well!!
|I just took these pictures of our wonderful boy.He has learned to lay down and he now knows leave it.He also learning to heal and sit when we stop. We are working on play biting
he is always trying to put my arms or hand in his mouth while he is playing he doesn't hurt.He is so funny he makes up his own games using his ball.He loves his walks and he
loves to run in the back yard.
I get allot of compliments on him where ever we take him.He is so calm and a real gentleman.
Thank you ever so much
P.S: you can post this and the pictures of him on your site.
I just wanted to send you some pictures of Kaimana (Raisin). He
has been nothing but an utter joy and a wonderful addition to our
family. He is the sweetest, mellowest dog! We love him dearly!
Also, did you say you were going to send us his puppy photos? If
so that would be great. Will send more pictures later.
|Jade is doing great. The kids adore her. She is a nice addition
to our family. I will send another picture after the holidays.
Mikhail is doing great! No accidents inside for several
days, and he is doing VERY well with his hidden fence.
He loves to play "keep away" with Delaney out in the back
yard. He lets her get about 6 inches from his ball and then
picks it up and RUNS!!!
He sees her as his playmate and whines at the door when
she leaves for school. : )
I've learned that he also loves to grab a sock when I am
sorting laundry to play "keep away" with me. : ) He also
LOVES ice cubes and runs to the fridge whenever he
hears the ice dispenser. He also enjoyed licking up the
little bit of snow that stuck to the grass the other day.
The past day or so he has started resisting his crate when
I have to leave the house. He has figured out that if he
goes in there in the daytime that I will be gone for awhile.
We have had a couple "battle of wills" over that issue! So
far I have always been the victor but we'll see how that
Well, I just wanted to give you a quick update. I have
attached a couple of photos as well.
Are you on Facebook? I have more photos on there as
well. If you would like to friend me I am under Lori ....
Take care, Lori
|Thank you for passing along the video. I'll be sure and send it to my
customers as well. We always crate our dogs when we feed them and
we don't keep water in their crates just in case this were to happen. I
appreciate you passing along the video! Sky is doing great!!! He is
such a sweet boy! I took some pics of him a few weeks ago and have
been meaning to send them to you so I've attached them for you.
Merry Christmas! Just
wanted to send you a
quick picture – warning,
she had a really, really
bad grooming around
Halloween and is just
starting to recover. ;)
She seems to be
smiling in a couple of
the pictures. Hugs and
kisses to you and the
rest of the pups. More
|BRAELYN AND HER
HER 1st BIRTHDAY!
Finally got pictures taken of Sky, we did celebrate his
first b-day but he hadn't been groomed yet so I didn't
get pics of the actual celebration. We shaved his
pompoms off and he looks so much taller now, he is
such a big boy. He is 28 inches at the shoulder and
weighs in at 70 lbs. We moved him from the front yard
to the back because we have 6 ft fence in the back. He
was putting his front paws on the top of the 4 ft fence
and was bouncing up and down on the top rail and I
was scared he might figure out how easy it would be for
him to jump the fence and be gone. So he's in the 6 ft
fence, when weather permits. We have had a lot of rain
lately, and the temps have been mostly in the 50's and
60's here, I don't think winter is coming for us this year.
I can hear frogs chirping outside and never have we
heard them before in January. Sky continues to
impress me, he is such a great dog and to this day I still
don't have a single regret on adopting him!!

Sterlyn Is doing great she has settled right in she loves my
son's mini schnauzer(Maggie), they play and sleep together
in my bed of course lol. She now weighs 15# 2 oz . She is
doing really well with the potty thing also. I thought I would
send you a pic so you can see how much she has grown. I
seen the new pics of your babies they are so beautiful..Thanks
again for our beautiful baby, we love her so much.... Lisa
Satchel is amazing! He is going to the door to ask to go out! He has been
out of his crate, but hasn’t had an accident in 3 days! He sleeps right next
to my bed – kind of under it with one little black paw sticking out. He sleeps
soundly and doesn’t beg to come up on the bed. He is eating pretty well
and busy playing outside too. He is the smartest dog I have ever seen.
I haven’t made any decisions about training methods. I wonder if clicker
training is for dumb dogs J Just kidding – but, poodles are so smart. They
get the idea so fast, I think clicking might seem stupid to them – ha ha I
cannot believe how fast he is learning stuff. He is a lover, too – except
when he is in his morning play mood when he just wants to nip and run!
I am trying to get some good shots of him to send because I want you to
have the 10-week photo, but he is so fast and also black, so he doesn’t
always show up!
I had to work yesterday, so the kids and Michael had him all day. They had
a great time and with me gone, he had to bond with them, too.
I have to go teach swim classes for a couple hours this morning and
Satchel has to go in his crate for awhile – actually on Saturday, we had to
go to a baseball game of Roman’s (they don’t allow dogs at this field, plus
Satchel is too little) and Satch had to stay in his crate for 2 hours. I had him
outside right before we left. That is the only accident he had was in his

Talk to you soon!
BTW, Did I tell you he is totally negative for worms? Great job, Luann! You

about her at first but wasn't long and they were romping and
playing. Lizzie and Tula have shared and exchanged toys. Can't

with. Her name will stay...

|I wish we lived closer, too!
Well, the job is sorta done.... I'll forward photos. You know he is hard to
get pics of. The job is kind of messy, but at least he feels better. I
cannot believe all the hair! You know we should save the hair from all the
dogs' groomings (all Shade's hair and all his babies) and have it made into
a sweater for Julie in honor of Braedyn! Wouldn't that be a fun gift? I want
one, too. The hair is beautiful and soft, but has density and would be a
beautiful yarn, I would think? If we save it all up surely we could get 3
sweaters! That would be so fun!
Okay -- sit down before you see the next email with pics, okay? :) I will
get better, rest assured. I did not do his feet but only his face and body.
I tried to blend the tail together with scissors and the back of his neck,
too. I ended up using a 5 blade, because that's what I have right now. It is
hard to get into the spots under the legs and in armpits, etc., isn't it?
Satchel was a good boy for me and just stood nice on the table. After I was
finished with him, I played in the hose with him and hosed us both off! That
is a hairy job, isn't it? I still fell a little itchy. Man, groomers really
do earn their pay for sure!
You might want to pour yourself a stiff drink before you see the pictures -
LOL!! The front socks are not even at all -- I made a boo boo and got one
too low and then really didn't know what exactly to do except match the
other one, but you know how that goes -- it seems I never got the right line
across the ankle bone. But, I will learn eventually -- hopefully before I am
old, gray and all my teeth fall out! Ha
Any and all advice is always appreciated and taken in the best sense!
(I THINK SHE DID GREAT!)

GOING TO HIS FOREVER HOME TODAY
|Hi LuAnn! Oh we just love our Cooley so much! He learns quickly if we can figure out how to communicate to him what we want! After his first potty-on-lead, and with my
praise, praise, praise, he had it all figured out! He responds so well to praise. Even better than treats!
Cooley was a big hit with our Vet, Dr. Laura. She was really impressed with his health, his proportions, his size and weight, and made special note of his beautiful eyes, and how
firm and strong his muscles feel! She agreed with us that he would be perfect for agility. She was so happy for me that she hugged me as we were leaving! Today, at 10 months,
Cooley is 45 lbs.(It's all muscle!) and slightly more than 25" at the shoulder.
I love the different sides of Cooley's personality. On one hand he is sweet and affectionate, and on the other hand he is an energetic rocket! To give him the exercise he needs,
he and I do a brisk 20 to 30 minute walk, on lead, on our country road every morning, then after our warm-up, I let him burn off more of his poodle-steam by either running
around a sandy area on our property, or making a long dash on a path through the woods back to our house. He's still a little iffy about reliably coming when called, thought he
always eventually comes, it's the detours that he takes, and how fast and how far he can go that is worrisome, so we haven't had him loose at the beach yet, and are definitely
going to get a fenced yard for him. In the meantime, we take him to the dog park next to the public beach in town. It's fenced, so he gets to run around like crazy, and play with
other dogs there! (We're having him neutered after the first of the year, and
make sure there's no funny-business in the meantime! Everyone at the dog park is very respectful of one another. We always ask permission before entering to make sure the
dogs are compatible!)
Here are some earlier pictures of Cooley in our house, and back yard, and at the dog park with a new friend... and soon I'll send you some of his new Poodle-Do! Thank you for our
Julie, Peter, and Cooley
|Just got in from Tn last nite. I wanted to let you know that Clay
daughters. JUST Perfect behavior! He loved playing with
Chester. Chester was great too. We had a nice time. Got the
wallpaper off! What work!
I think I am going to take Clay for walk at State Park. I hope its
not too wet. Oh well, we just will wash the feet! Ha. I bought
Clay a new leather color with a brass name tag attached.
Hope all is well with all your pups. take care
Thanks for the Christmas card, that was very thoughtful.
I have been clipping Raina and I do not seen to get the poof on her top correct. What am I doing wrong? I comb and brush it after trimming
but it does not uncurl and look right.Should I use a finer comb or brush?
She has been very patient and good when I clip her, I have the table near a window and she seems to be happy to look outside.
We are enjoying her so much and she is behaving very well, I take her for a walk almost every day and we play ball with her and she does
love it, her social skills are good and she is even polite. When one of the dogs are eating or drinking she waits patiently for her turn, even if
it is at their house and their food.
She is getting another new bed for Christmas, I purchased one a long time ago, but my daughter in CA ( who has 4 dogs) is sending
another. She has grown a lot and eats well, so I had to make sure she heels well and listens to commands.
We love her and I hope she stays in good health for a long time. She does growl occasionally but never vicious.
We wish you a very Merry Christmas and a great 2012. and one of these days I will send you a picture with her new red velvet collar.
We had a good birthday for Raina and I made 2
recipes of dog biscuits and she was happy.
The picture was our 1st snow storm that lasted
for 2 days we played throwing snowballs.
I think the picture does not show how much she
has grown. Her dog bed in an extra large and
when she stretches her legs, the bed is just right.
Have a good day

|2013. SHE LOOKS LIKE
Just wanted to share a quick photo of Brae. :) She loves
leaf piles. And squirrels. And garbage cans. She is doing
well but is still a little jealous that she is not the baby
anymore. ;) She takes out her frustrations on Jingya's toys
every now and then, but seems to be getting better. These
rains have left her one stinky dog! I will send another
photo after her grooming tomorrow!
Kisses to the pups!
