|Hi LuAnn-We decided to change his name to Teddy. He seems to already know it. He is doing great. House training
him is going well...only a few mistakes here and there but it is to be expected. We started to crate train him.
However, I just cannot let him sleep alone at night so he is joyfully and willingly sleeping with us and our two other
down comforter. His transition to his new puppy food is going well, too. He is just so adorable and we just love him
so much. I took him to the farm yesterday and he patiently waited in the aisle as I groomed my Friesian and we
walked back into the big field for about 40 minutes just running and playing picking up sticks along the way.
Needless to say, he slept like a baby when we returned home. Please feel free to contact us at any time if you want
to know how he is doing. We will be sure to keep in touch. We will send pics shortly. Thanks again Luann...we're
so happy that Teddy made his way to us! MacKenzie P.S. He says thanks for all the hugs and kisses. He wanted us

Sure you can use those items on your website, we're happy to oblige! Thanks for doing such a great job raising the puppies-they're
adjusting to our home quickly and are intelligent, calm and gentle. For only being 8 weeks old, we think they listen very well. They certainly
understand what no means, and they greet you when you walk in the door. The kids, Michelle, and I are having a ball with them, and it's Lilly
is the couch potato; she loves laying there, and MUST have a pillow. She doesn't follow you around constantly, but loves her cuddle time.
Theo, on the other hand, follows you everywhere when he can and is always looking to be petted. When it comes to the couch and pillows
though, he wants no part of either!
We can hardly wait to see them grow into wonderful adults.
I admit when Michelle initially told me of your website, I thought "Poodles-are you kidding me????" Like the majority, I had the stereotypical
misconception of Poodles being hyper, yippy dogs and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that quite the opposite is true whenever we
visited you the first time and those pre-conceived notions were completely disproven. I was amazed at how calm and gentle your adult dogs
were, nothing like I imagined they would be. Thanks again for doing such a great job, and we're looking forward to you guys coming to the
puppy party & seeing us & the pooches again.
I'll get the directions together and send them soon.

|Hi LuAnn, Thanks for the good news on
the health tests. On Monday Lilly got her
first grownup haircut (see photo!) and
then yesterday she got her AKC Star
Puppy award. We love her! Carole
|^j^ We Love
You! 12-17-08 -
|We thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday, and the days before that too.
We think of you in silence. We often speak your name.
Now all we have is memories, and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake, with which we'll never part.
GOD has you in his keeping. We have you in our heart.
I got pictures of Parfait with her big girl hair cut. She looks adorable this way too. (I still like her long hair also too haha) The one
she is sitting she totally cocked her head like a model. She was like yes I am beautiful take my picture. haha She looks really tall
now. I think when I am done showing her if I do show her, I took her to my friends house that showed her poodle and yes they were
next to each other and Parfait was about two or three inches taller and her head and feet were much bigger, my friend said she
has a really pretty head but she is not one for the taller bodies so she wasn't sure how the judges would also be and now that
Parfait was cut you can see way more black spots they call that ticking apparently they don't really like that either but hay its a
party poodle you get different colors all over hence the name. haha I think my groomer may have cut her feet alittle higher than I
would have liked she looks like high waters only alittle though my friend didn't comment on that so it must be ok that way. If I don't
show her though I want to give her the cuff look, her legs just look way to long this straight way. My son thinks she looks like a
dalmation with the spots but he still loves her.. haha She seems happier now with the short hair, its way cooler than before. Ok I
am going to fly. LMK what you think.

Yes we received the test results. Thank you. Bella is doing great she is scheduled to be
spayed on 6/23/09 and we hope this will settle her down a bit . She has a mind of her own and
is very mischevious . We cannot leave her for a minute or she will be into the garbage or
pulling the toilet paper off the rolls . She is a crafty thief and is forever stealing laundry,
kitchen mits, shoes ect... she wants us to chase her all the time. She is very affectionate and
in person. Her eyes are a med brown and her nose is darker also . We've had her clipped 2
Thank you so much for the Christmas and Birthday cards they are very cute. Bella continues
to bring us joy every day. At times, she still thinks she is a lap dog, at night she likes to
snuggle with us in bed and when we come home from work she lets us know how happy she is
to see us. She loves to play ball and absolutely enjoys it when we take her for a walk. Bella
has left her mark on quite a few pieces of furniture, but she can always rely on her cuteness
to escape being reprimanded. We are so happy to have her.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,

Thanks for the email checking in on our "Cage". I have taken some pictures
finally now that his fur has grown back from our sad attempt to let our
friend trim him! He's so handsome! His fur is so soft and he has some
goregeous curls, they aren't super tight and they look so amazing! He loves
to ride in the car with his hair blowing through his fluffy head of hair! He
also prances when he walks and is a very good pouncer and hopper too!
grown. He still has quite a bit of energy but does well with us without a
leash on. He has the type of personality that pretty much everyone is his
"friend" but he attaches to people very quickly and is unbelieveably
affectionate. He stayed with my sister's family for a few days while we were
he'd go through hoops of fire for. It's too funny!
It's amazing how many people have never seen a standard before or didnt
even know they existed. The funny thing is though, a few minutes around
Cage, and he has them converted into poodle lovers too!
I think they said he was about 45-50 lbs at the vet last month. We also took
our other dogs in for their Eye CERF tests, and we took Cage too. They all
passed with flying colors. So now his eye's are CERF'd too! Thought you'd
like to hear that!
He's kind of inbetween on is coloring not cream... not apricot....but he does
have the white patch on his chest. Our vet, who owns a standard, LOVED
his coloring... and thought it looked like a frosted apricot! Ha ha ha!
I will send pictures either later today or tomorrow.
Thanks again for providing such a wonderful home for him. Being that we
also breed, we can tell the difference from getting a puppy from a truly
loving home like yours vs a breeder that is just selling a puppy. Right from
the start, the impact you had on him helped make him who is is becoming
now... so thank you!

|Hi LuAnn! Slae is doing GREAT! He has had a busy week with being castrated on Monday and haircut on Wednesday, but
he took it all in stride! He is the best dog i have ever had and he's only 6 months old=) I love him!
I hope these pictures turn out for you! Slae is really doing great. He is a great protector without being aggressive
and is really laid back- sometimes we have to make him play! After listening to the kid's goodnight stories he and I
go watch tv. I call him 'my snuggies' because he tries to curl up in my lap.=) Craig takes him on hikes constantly and
he always listens to commands no matter what the distraction is. He really is a great dog! Are you expecting more
litters soon? Hope this email finds you and your family well,

Hope you are doing well. Take care & enjoy the pictures.
We got your christmas card and the birthday card for
Hollie. That was very nice of you to think of us. Hollie
is doing great. She is such a spoiled girl.....We love her
to death!! Thank you for giving us such a wonderful to
death!! Thank you for giving us such a wonderful pet.
She sleeps with us, travels with us, and follows us
where ever we go. We cant beleive how smart she is
and how fast she learns new commands. She loves my
husband the most though. He spends the most time
with her. Every morning she waits for him to get ready
so they can walk to check the mailbox. And then when
she hears the rattle of the car keys she waits at the
door because she knows its time to go bye bye. lol! He
takes her hunting but she still hasnt mastered that
yet... She gets lazy bout two hours into it and wants to
follow behind instead of take the lead like she is
suppose to do. I think she is happy! She is very
protective of my kids and i love that. If someone new
enters my house whom she has never seen before she
will let us know something isnt right. Its so funny
because my husband play wrestles with my kids and
Hollie usually can tell he is just playing. But sometimes
if my husband gets too rough or agressive then Hollie
will growl at him and crouch down as if to tell him he
better be NICE!! My husband figured out that is not a
good thing to do around Hollie. Sorry i keep rambling
on about her but she is wonderful. Everywhere we take
her people say she is the prettiest thing they have ever
seen. Everyone asks to buy her or if I have attached
some recent photos. She needs a haircut so she
doesnt look as pretty as usual. We sang happy
birthday to her and she thought that was GREAT!!

Just so sweet and cute and adorable- she really has a great disposition.
The kids have been playing non-stop with her in the yard and she is once
again crashed in the playpen area I set up in the kitchen. She has been
good at night, with one wake-up call each night.
I just looked in the book and there wasn't an extra copy but there was one
for both Axle and Paisley. Thank you for all of the good information.
Mitzi is going to the vet tomorrow.
Cali got a DHPP (no lepto) shot on 4/20/10 and will get another shot of
some type on 5/10/10. I'll ask then what the schedule will be for additional
shots. She took her first Sentinel pill for heart worm and fleas. We are
having alot of fun with Cali. She can now go up and down stairs. Cali
loves to play with the bunny, bottle, and hoof you gave her. She sleeps in
bed with us. I put her baby blanket in her crate when we have to leave her
alone, which is normally only for two hours, when I leave for work and my
husband comes back home from swimming. I only work 3 days per week
which is nice because I get to spend alot of time with her.
Paisley I have added it to the book. I did put in the disc and the pictures
are there but they are blown up to large for me to view the dogs. I will
work on it tonight with my neighbor and let you know if works. Thanks for
sending it to me because Walt and I just got back from our conference and we
could not believe how big Scout looked being away for just 5 days. So it is
nice to have pictures to show his growth.
My mom stayed here with our children and she loved Scout. He was very good
for her she keeps telling me how smart she thinks he is!

Just wanted to give you a quick update on Chelsea. Basically, she is an awesome girl! She is getting bigger, but still likes
to cuddle, which Greg and I both find adorable. She is so well behaved for a puppy, and is already to the point where she
doesn't need crated if we are only leaving for a few hours. When we get home, every toy has been taken out of her toy box,
but she doesn't touch our stuff. I have never had a puppy like that. She also hasn't had a potty accident in quite some time
(knock on wood). I got a new harness for her (the kid that hooks in front), which has really helped with the walks. She is
getting more used to being trimmed, so I think there is hope for both of us in the grooming department. Her sweetness is
our favorite thing about her, but she is also really smart. Training her is fun, because she understands so quickly. I am sad
I have to go back to work soon, but I am glad she has had the summer to mature a bit first. Thank you for giving Chelsea

Norman and Nathan are doing great. They are both such adorable loving little boys. We had a great deal of success in starting potting
training over the weekend. We had very few "ut ohs". Both of them are total snugglers, they take many of their naps with their little chins on
our feet or on our laps. They love going outside to romp in the yard. Nathan has established himself as the leader when they are playing
chase and he will come and lay on top of Norman if he is laying on my lap...as if to say it's my turn first. When they go outside early in the
morning and the birds are singing, Nathan barks back every time a bird make a loud chirp. Norman spends most of his time outside trying
to find pine cones that have dropped in the yard. We have to keep an eye on him because he thinks they are chew toys. It is so much fun
watching them leap into the flower beds and hide in the pacasandra. Norman will jump in and lay down and wait for Nathan to go by so he
can leap out at him. We are so glad that we decided to get two from the same litter. I envision them being best buds for life. We started
giving them a treat every time the come in the house from outside, so now they rush in and sit two feet inside the door just waiting for that
treat....so so cute. They are so incredibly smart. They sleep in bed with us at night ....Nathan tightly curled up next to me and Norman next
to Jim. We went to bed around 11:30 on Friday night and they slept until 7:30 the next morning. No accidents and not a peep out of either
I hope your long trip was not too exhausting for you and your Mom......I know it was a very emotional one for you. I completely understand
why...even though N&N have only been here for a few days.....I could never imagine my life without them. Talk about wrapped around their
little paws!!!!! I hope you know how much Jim and I appreciate everything you have done for them. Your love and influence has made them
remarkable little boys.

|Hi, LuAnn and Rich! The babies are settling in very well. The car ride wasn't so great...they both got sick a couple of times
(so thankful for the puppy pads you gave us). We stopped at Tractor Supply on the way home and got a cage big enough for
the both of them. They were introduced to the poos here and all went well. Our youngest miniature Emma, was a little
jealous, but she'll warm up to them. We bathed them when we got home. They ate and played. We put them in the cage for
bedtime and the boy, now named Sloane, whined a little. Other than that, they both settled in wonderfully and we didn't hear
from them until this morning when we let them out. No accidents in their cage all night! Their names are Sloane and Alley.
He's named for Dr. Sloane on Grey's Anatomy and she's named for Alice (Alley) from the Twilight series. I've put pictures on
to send you, if you'd like. I'm looking forward to getting the one from you. I'll eventually have time to make scrapbooks of
them. Thank you so much for the care bags you sent with them! It was so nice. I really appreciate having things they need to
start out and not having to go buy them. Their books are so special, too. You're a wonderful breeder. Thank you for these
babies. Sloane has taken to me and he's my boy!! Alley is a force to be reckoned with! lol. She loves to eat!! She's more
adventureous than Sloane. I'll keep you up-to-date as best I can. I'll let you know how the vet visit goes. I have to see if I can
change the appointment from the one I have for early afternoon to one later. I'll need my daughters help with the both of
them. I'm also going to inquire about obedience training. Again, thank you both for the beautiful babies. I'm really looking
forward to seeing how beautiful they grow up to be.
|Good Morning, LuAnn. The vet visit went fine, yesterday. Actually
better than fine...great! The puppies are perfectly healthy. My vet did
want to vaccinate and worm them, again. They also got Bordetella.
The babies were so wonderfully behaved. Everyone at the vet's
office was talking about them and asking me what breed they were.
When I told someone they were 11 weeks, she asked how long I'd
had them. I told her since Saturday and she was amazed how
attatched to me they are, already. She asked if she could take
pictures of them with her cell phone. I got compliments from
everyone from the vet tech to owners, about how beautiful and well
behaved the puppies are. I realized quickly (while at the vet's) that
these poodles are goiong to attract attention. I think I'm going to
have them microchipped!!! I left feeling like quite the proud
"parent"! They didn't get sick during the car ride to or from the vet's
office. They are doing really well! Sloane is so attatched to me. He
follows me everywhere....my boy! Alley is attatched too, but not like
Sloane. I'm loving every minute of this!! Thank you again, for such
precious babies. A dream come true for me! I'll keep in touch....

|Hi, LuAnn. I dropped Sloane off for his appointment.Almost cried leaving him, I'm so
attatched!! This is the first time he and Alley have been apart. She's kind of lost pride,
I said "No, he's a Standard Poodle". LOVE IT! Another lady asked me where I got him
and I told her. She asked me when I come to pick Sloane up, if I'd bring your name
and phone number. I'll be giving her your information. I'll send my cell pics to your
phone. I'll let you know how he does. Have a good day....Robin
Good Morning. Just a quick update. Sloane did very well. He's back to normal again,
this morning. He's now up-to-date on his shots, bordetella, and rabies. He's been
microchipped, as well. Alley will go next Monday and they will start training with an
obedience trainer the following Monday. Life with the puppies is good!
exhausted from your trip. I can't thank you enough for delivering
Olivia right to my door here in Pennsylvania! She's settling in just
fine - she's right beside me at my feet while I write this to you. She
had a fair nite cried only for a short while in her crate, ate last nite
about 5:30 and is following the command sit well. She's so smart and
a "quick" learner for sure.
What a beautiful, gentle, refined lady she is! I'm proud to have her
join our family! Kudo's to you and your family for loving and caring
so much about the gifts of puppies you share. You have provided
them with such care! It's obivous this is not merely a business for
you but a passion!
The packet with the blanket, goodies, food have been a big help
getting her settled in. The information in her book has been helpful -
we are "leash bonding" (great idea). I've searched for months... to
actually find the right breeder to bless us with the right puppy. I'm so
glad we found you and Olivia! Thank you again LuAnn, Olivia will be
fine, no worry. Will stay in touch and send pictures as soon as we
can! All the best!
Cynthia and Claude
from Blue Bell Pennsylvania
|Hi! Just wanted to let you know Alley did great! They wanted to keep her! They thought she looked like a stuffed animal. The
vet tech said she wished she could have her...lol. The tech commented on how sweet Alley is. Anyway, she's fine and getting
back to normal. They're both fixed, all shots, rabies and bordetella. Microchipped, as well. I'll keep you up-to-date. Robin
Hope your well! First Vet visit went well she had a rabies
shot, weighted in at 24.3 - Vet commented that we have a
gentle, mellow dog (which we already knew). He showed me
how to pluck her hair from her ears and to massage her toes
for the future with the groomer. Given heart worm and
frontline she's good to go!!
She's now sleeping by my bed side at night - she won't leave
my side. I love it! She's making friends with others in the
home, but I'm now her best friend! I still use the crated
periodically during the day for her own good. She's so gentle
and smart she get's walked several times and runs in yard to
potty every two hours. Wow, what a brilliant sensitive puppy!
Funny story, the PT therapist knocked on the door to enter -
she has a booming strong voice. And is quite stern to
motivate Claude, Olivia went off barking at her. The women
has several dogs and tried to make friends with but Olivia
wasn't interested - at one point she actually growled and
stepped back as if to say don't even try it... And Claude
thought he wanted a German Sheppard for protection lol.
This morning on our way to a Sickel Cell Walkathon in
Philadelphia. A good chance to get her socialized in crowds. I
can see Olivia doing great things... I want to have her trained
for therapy to visit Children's Hospital soon. The Vet agreed
she has the right temperament. Sooooo glad we have found
her she's a gem!! No chance of this not working no worry -
it's already worked :)
Have a great week end! Will remain in touch always!
found my digital camera since our move. I have to try and find it soon, the pictures from my cell are not very good.
They went to their vet today and Norman now weighs 26 lbs. and Nathan is up to 24 lbs 6 oz. Our vet just loves them, she says they are very healthy and happy little
boys!! I made a mistake about the time of their appointment and we got there one hour early. Everyone was totally amazed that they just sat there like little angels for
a whole hour until their real appointment time. Of course, they are usually the center of attention where ever we go.
They are just amazing together, we are so glad we have both of them. We love watching them romp around in the backyard. They love to play fetch with tennis balls
and they actually bring them back to us.......about 1 out of 3 times. The other day when Brett (our dog walker) was here, Norman and Nathan herded a mouse. Brett
said it was amazing to see how they worked together to control and catch the mouse. They do everything together. They are both little lovers too and they just love to
be hugged and kissed.
We did have some excitement last week though, Nathan got stung in the nose by a huge wasp. His face started to swell up instantly so we rushed him to the nearest
emergency center. They observed him for about 20 minutes then came out and told me his swelling was going down and his breathing was not compromised. They
told me to take him home and give him a 25mg Benedryl tablet. Needless to say he got a lot of extra special attention that night (which he totally loved).
I hope you, Rich and everyone in your family are doing well. We will have to get together sometime in the future. We would love for you to see our beautiful little boys
|hello, I own K-9 Confidence Dog Training in
Lesage, WV. I had my
first training lesson with 2 of your babies,
owned by Robin Thomas of
Proctorville OH I have trained for 30 yrs., and
have not seen such nice St.
Poodles in our area for many yrs. I want to
commend you on your breeding
program. They are structurally sound and
with great temperaments, not to mention
very intelligent. The male is already
understanding down, amazing!! I just tried
the down command for fun, and he did it on
the first try. I respect your
program, I just wish more breeders were as
diligent as you.
An exciting day to see my baby girl Olivia get her hair cut for the
first time! Thanks for listening when I had my moment of Separation
Anxiety while she was being groomed it was the first time we've
been apart... She looks so mature with her big girl look, and she's
settling in so well on the home front. Now that she's settled in we're
ready for Doggy Training and occasional Day Care to get her
socialized with other doggies and people. Day Care will work well
when there's MD appointments, she's attached to the family so
closely we want her to be well rounded. Next goal - once we finish
our Doggy Training programs is to get her accessed for Therapy
Training. She's so smart and gentle I want others to enjoy her
grace!! Enjoy!! Will keep you posted!
