CALI AT HER NEW HOME WHAT A BEAUTY!

Hi LuAnn, I just went put a review on puppyfind for you. Of course... you got five stars! I would've given more if I could have. Thank-you so much for my little Lady. She is so spoiled. My husband said she seems like a human being. She has already won his heart. I thought it would take him a little longer but he just loves her to death. He said we aren't ever getting a different kind of dog. Once a standard poodle owner, always a standard poodle owner. Thank-you so much for Lady, Jamie
Hi LuAnn. She is great! Big news- we changed her name to Mitzi. It just seemed to fit. We got the pack yesterday afternoon - thanks so much. Lots of fun stuff! Mitzi was super excited about the grey, thin, squeaky animal toy and played with it a long time. Just so sweet and cute and adorable- she really has a great disposition. The kids have been playing non-stop with her in the yard and she is once again crashed in the playpen area I set up in the kitchen. She has been good at night, with one wake-up call each night. I just looked in the book and there wasn't an extra copy but there was one for both Axle and Paisley. Thank you for all of the good information. Mitzi is going to the vet tomorrow.
LuAnn, Cali got a DHPP (no lepto) shot on 4/20/10 and will get another shot of some type on 5/10/10. I'll ask then what the schedule will be for additional shots. She took her first Sentinel pill for heart worm and fleas. We are having alot of fun with Cali. She can now go up and down stairs. Cali loves to play with the bunny, bottle, and hoof you gave her. She sleeps in bed with us. I put her baby blanket in her crate when we have to leave her alone, which is normally only for two hours, when I leave for work and my husband comes back home from swimming. I only work 3 days per week which is nice because I get to spend alot of time with her. Susan
Hi Luanne, I did get your mail I just opened it. Thanks for sending the PennHip from Paisley I have added it to the book. I did put in the disc and the pictures are there but they are blown up to large for me to view the dogs. I will work on it tonight with my neighbor and let you know if works. Thanks for sending it to me because Walt and I just got back from our conference and we could not believe how big Scout looked being away for just 5 days. So it is nice to have pictures to show his growth. My mom stayed here with our children and she loved Scout. He was very good for her she keeps telling me how smart she thinks he is! As soon as I get the pictures downloaded from my camera to the computer I will email some to you! Thanks again, Peggy
Hello! I just checked out your website and saw my girls on the puppy page! Chelsea is doing sooooooo well. Sydni finally found her "back off" voice, so the girls can play together now and Sydni will tell Chelsea when they game is over. I no longer have to be the referee. Chelsea LOVES her sister, and Sydni is doing much better. If they are separated, they always greet each other with sniffs and tail wags. Chelsea is growing quickly, and learning just as fast. She can officially, "come", "sit", go "down". We are working on "fetch", and today she brought her toy back almost every time. She is still a puppy, so she gets distracted (especially if her sister decides to join in... then they just run around the house like maniacs). We are also working on "off" and "no bite"... she doesn't like those quite as much. Our walks are going better too. I took her by herself today, and she did great! House training is super easy with Chelsea. She has only had four accidents since we got her, and they were totally our fault (Like I said to myself, "I know I should take her out soon. I'll just leave the room for a second and then take her when I get back... totally dumb!") She has never gone in her crate. And can go about 8 hours at night before she whines to go. If we are near a door, she will scratch if she wants to go out. Mostly she is just the sweetest thing. She loves to be with us and feel loved. For a puppy, she is quite calm. She has her morning crazies and her "It's almost bed time, and I'm tired and cranky, but I refuse to calm down"- crazies, but they are manageable.

SOLD! ARGYLE HAS GONE TO HIS FOREVER HOME IN PA! HE HAS A GREAT HOME WITH CONNIE, MICHAEL, MORGAN, ZACHARY AND KATE. HIS NAME WILL BE ... "DEXTER"

Yes, he's been much better at night. Every once in a while, he'll wimper a little and I'm a light sleeper, so I hear him and all I do is tell him to go back to sleep and he does. I think he just needed to get used to his new place and we needed to learn what he was able to do. He does have his blanket with him though. Our boxer is old as you can see and she doesn't play. Dexter usually is fine with that although he will bounce around and bark at her trying to get her to play with him. I said it is sad that he wasn't here while we had our male boxer Sampson--he always wanted to play and would have loved Dexter. But Dexter and Gracie enjoy hanging out together. From the second day he was here, they have been eating side by side from their food bowls. Our cat is slowly starting to realize that he won't hurt her and she is starting to spend more time upstairs instead of in the basement. I give them another month before they are totally used to each other too. The kids are head over heels for him. My oldest Morgan is working on teaching him how to walk on a leash and you saw in the video, she's taught him to lie down. It's neat watching them with a puppy. They've never been around a puppy before, so they aren't always sure how to react to him when he does puppy things. But they are learning as fast as he is. He's a smarty pants. The screen on our back porch is loose in the bottom corner. We haven't fixed it yet this spring and Gracie just pushes her way out when she wants in the back yard. It took Dexter a few days of seeing her do that before he figured that was the "doggie door" he wanted to use. He's just a great wooly lug. We love him and as I said in the video, the vet was very happy with him and impressed with your paperwork and how well he was obviously cared for by you and your husband. We'll keep you posted and send a still shot soon. Connie 6-7-10

Hello LuAnn, Calico weighs 26.8 pounds at 4 months old. She is very smart. Loves to play. The vet says, the best time to get her spayed is when she gets 30-35 pounds. So probably in August she will be around that weight. Take care. Hope things go well with the new litter of puppies. Susan Pierro

WILLOW AND COOPER BABIES ARE ON THE "LITTERS" PAGE BEAUTIFUL CREAM/GOLDEN APRICOT ABSTRACTS....3 GIRLS 1 BOY STILL AVAILABLE 8-17-10
Hi LuAnn, Just wanted to give you a quick update on Chelsea. Basically, she is an awesome girl! She is getting bigger, but still likes to cuddle, which Greg and I both find adorable. She is so well behaved for a puppy, and is already to the point where she doesn't need crated if we are only leaving for a few hours. When we get home, every toy has been taken out of her toy box, but she doesn't touch our stuff. I have never had a puppy like that. She also hasn't had a potty accident in quite some time (knock on wood). I got a new harness for her (the kid that hooks in front), which has really helped with the walks. She is getting more used to being trimmed, so I think there is hope for both of us in the grooming department. Her sweetness is our favorite thing about her, but she is also really smart. Training her is fun, because she understands so quickly. I am sad I have to go back to work soon, but I am glad she has had the summer to mature a bit first. Thank you for giving Chelsea such a wonderful start. We are so grateful! Trishah 8-5-10
Hi, LuAnn, Just wanted to check in and send you a few photos. These aren't the best--that black fur is hard to photograph as I'm sure you know, and he also just had a bath, so he looks a little straggly. (I loved giving him a bath and not having to clean shedded hair up off of the tub after I was done--how new!) Everything is going great. I would say he is housebroken, but as soon as I say it, he'll prove me wrong, but he's pretty close, we can trust him now. He just fits in perfectly. The kids adore him, especially my girls. He loves them all, but he has a special attachment to my oldest Morgan who was with me when we picked him up. She wasn't this close with our last dog nor our current boxer. There is something to be said about a puppy growing in front of you that causes a different kind of attachment. Anyway, not much to report, he's growing quickly. He doesn't get much dog play from our old girl Gracie, but our aunt and uncle have a standard poodle that is one month younger and they love to romp around--nonstop. We have 2 other relatives who just rescued standard poodles also (8 months and 15 months). They haven't been together to play yet, but we will get them together. The rest of the family is making fun of how many poodles there suddenly are in the family. There are awesome dogs and we love Dexter. I wouldn't be surprised if I don't come calling next summer for another one. Your last litter is adorable. The kids and I check up on them every now and then to see how they are growing. Well, we are off to the beach tomorrow and the kids especially Morgan are very upset about leaving Dexter at home. My sister in law will be staying at the house with him, but they are really going to miss him. I hope your summer has gone well and we will update you with some better pictures later, but I had the camera out today, so I thought I would at least send these along. Take care, Connie 7-31-10
Hi LuAnn, We just got back from taking Mitzi camping. She was easy and great and slept in her own little tent in the vestibule of the kids tent. She was exhausted every night and went right in and curled up. We are working with a trainer now so she walks easily on the leash and is just learning stay. She has a playdate every day with the two poodles across the street so gets plenty of wrestling time. I was curious about her coat. I had her nose and paws shaved but still haven’t had her cut. Her fur is super soft and silky and never mats. It is almost like she is an afghan. Do you think this will change? What should I do? I hope all is well with you. Thanks again for such a sweet dog! Chandra 7-20-10

Hi LuAnn, I noticed that you delivered the puppy to South Carolina. Guess you had too much going on to stop by. I was looking forward to seeing you and showing you Lady. I have given Lady two big groomings. It took me two hours to clip her. I was able to do it by myself. I clip her face and bottom about twice in between clippings. She hates getting her face clipped but is pretty much ok with her body. I don't have a grooming table so I have to clip her on the floor. I have been meaning to get you some pictures of her. She is a beauty. I bring her on a walk around the block every day and people that see her tell me that she is very beautiful. I absolutely love her color! Much more beautiful than I ever imagined. She can be very bouncy when she first sees me. She loves me much more than my husband and doesn't walk too well with him if I'm not there with him. She has never hurt Anna which I am very thankful for. She has accidentally bumped into her but she tries to jump 'around' her. Lady certainly tells me whenever someone shows up. She barks at squirrels a lot. I am trying to train her not to bark at just ANYTHING. Anna will sometimes go up to her when she is barking and screams "NO NO!" Lady just ignores her. I did have my second little girl. She was born on July 27th at 10:41 pm. I think I sent you some pictures from my phone. I don't know if you received them or not. She looks just like her little sister did when she was born. I love the markings on the one little female you have left. I can't remember her name but she is the first one on the page that is still available. I still go look at your website a lot. Whenever my daughter sees the pictures she gets excited and say "puppy puppy" over and over again. I noticed you added a page announcing your upcoming litters. Any reason why you are only breeding Paisley and Willow one more time? Well, I don't want to keep you to long. I got to go take care of my little one. Thank-you so much for my beautiful Lady. Jamie
